Gangrape in one of the most developed cities in India

23-year old girl gang-raped in Gurgaon

   Mar 12, 2012
A 23-year-old girl who worked at a pub at a Gurgaon mall near Delhi was allegedly gang-raped last night.
Media reports said the girl was inside a cab outside Sahara Mall when six men stopped the cab, dragged her out and forced her into their Maruti 800 car. She was abducted by the men at 2:30 am from the Mehrauli-Gurgaon road.
The victim told the police that after the pub closed at 2am, she had left for her house in Badarpur in South Delhi in a hired cab. Her 17-year-old brother was also with her. When their car reached near the Bristol Hotel, a car had overtaken the vehicle and forced it to stop.
Gurgaon’s Deputy Commissioner of Police (East) Maheshwar Dayal said, “We have registered a case of gangrape and abduction against unknown people.”
The taxi driver on being questioned by reporters said, “I was afraid of my life. They came and took her. I could not do anything. There were six men.”
The victim was later abandoned outside the Chhattarpur metro station.

Based on the driver’s description of the attackers, the police is preparing sketches that will be released soon. The police will also scan CCTV footage from the mall and the pub.
This incident though, is not an isolated one.
On 17 February, a 17-year-old girl was gangraped by five of her neighbours in a moving car in Noida, near Delhi. In January this year, a 20-year-old girl from Manipur was raped in Dwarka by a man who offered her a lift.
Despite the initiatives taken by the Delhi Police to make the city safe for women, at least one rape took place every day in the city last year, as Firstpost reported earlier.
2011 witnessed 12.03 percent rise in rape cases as compared to previous year. As many as 568 rapes took place in Delhi in the year as compared to 507 cases in 2010.
In her statement to the police, the victim has blamed a co-worker for her rape. She says that after she fought with him, he persuaded a group of six men at the pub to assault her.
The police said the alleged victim was reportedly hired by the pub to engage with male customers, reported.

Alleged gang rape victim from Gurgaon refuses medical test

Gurgaon:  A 23-year-old girl who worked at a pub at a Gurgaon mall near Delhi says she was gang-raped last night. The police says the alleged victim was reportedly hired by the pub to engage with male customers.

However, the girl has refused to undergo medical test.

In her statement to the police, she has blamed a co-worker for her rape. She says that after she fought with him, he persuaded a group of six men at the pub to assault her.

She says she was with her brother and driver outside the Sahara Mall when six men overpowered her companions and forced her into their Maruti. She says she was taken to a flat nearby where she was raped. Then the men left her outside the Chhattarpur metro station.

Her brother and the driver are eye-witnesses to the alleged crime. Based on their description of the attackers, the police is preparing sketches that will be released soon. The police will also scan CCTV footage from the mall and the pub.

The cops have tracked down the car, but are still looking for the alleged kidnappers.

This incident though, is not an isolated one. On February 17, a 17-year-old girl was gangraped by five of her neighbours in a moving car in Noida, near Delhi. In January this year, a 20-year-old girl from Manipur was raped in Dwarka by a man who offered her a lift.

According to National Crime Records Bureau statistics, Delhi reported 414 rape cases in 2010 - numbers that make life in the National Capital Region very unsafe, especially for women.

Sex trafficking and female foeticide in India

This was shown in the another episode of crime patrol..
A happy family, wife, husband and their only girl about 15 years old. Father was the only earning member, the family was not that rich but it was fine going.
They were living in delhi. Delhi is the capital of India, and it is also the capital and centre of human sex trafficking in south asia..
She was in school and she had her best friend too.
There was a some sort of competition in school and her bestfriend had made a beautifull temple for it so she want to have a look on it. So that girl asked her address and promised her bestfriend that she will visit her next day.
So next day, making her parents to approve she take money from her dad and went on the way to her friend's house. Lost in the streets, can't call her parents as they surely gonna ask her to make her way back to home. And she was desperate to have a look at the model of the temple.
And then she met a woman(bastard bitch) on the streets. That women asked her to come inside her house have some water and after that she tied her and kidnapped her. Then that woman warned her that ''If she shouts or try to escape she would be killed and she will cut her into pieces''...
Then the bad woman ranged up her bad friend and decided the cost of the pretty girl.
That pretty girls virginity cost her more.
And she was being sold to punjab or haryana..
Ok now, punjab and haryana are the states in India, both of them are rich states due to their productivity and farming area.
These states are also famous for their low and fluctuating sex ratio. It's because due to female foeticide. Mothers go through abortion if they know that female sex baby would be born.

Ok now in the episode, a bad man, who once had a wife.. Now his previous wife he left her alone because she was pregnant three times, and three of the time she has gone through abortion. Because that bad man wanted a son who can be physically strong. So he left her previous wife..
Now that girld which was 14 year old virgin was sold to this man..
Now this man fucked her badly..
She cried out due to pain each and every time..
But he.. Why didn't he listen??
Tears came out when I think about it..
God, why did you make such devils??
God, I hate you for this..
All this sufferings which you make to people.. For the enjoyment of others...

She suffered there in that hell for five months..
Vomited..
Bear the pain and every night she was fucked like a..
She did all the job and still treated like the most worst thing in the world..
I can't imagine her sufferings..

When she was kidnapped, her father went to police station. After five months some how that girl managed to call her father and told him that this is the number.
So the police was able to trace her location and they found her..

Forced Prostution In India

So yesterday I watched two episodes of crime patrol..
It's a show here on television.
So after watching it I cried..
I don't cry that often, but I cried..

Now the first episode goes this way:-
In a home situated in mumbai (It's the financial capital of India) there was a family with a daughter of about 16 and a son of about 1 or 1 and half year. And there were two female one was about in her earl 30's and the other was around 15. The husband was a respected man in the office and his wife was housewife. This story revolves around the female servant which was 15 years old. One day when she and the small child were alone in the house. She was playing with him, and she was jealous of the fact, the love and luxury which he was getting, so she threw him from the balcony. And all of a sudden few lifes were affected, parents, his sister...
He was admitted in the hospital, in i.c.u. ward. Police investigation held. The girl was caught and she was kept in the custody. And she was asked why did she do it!! Why??
Then she responded..
And the answer was shocking..
A series of traumatic events took place in her life that made her like that..
Its a kind of psychological complex.
If it have been anyone it could have been happened..
She as a child was living in a poor family(below poverty line). And she has a brother also..
Her father was a farmer, and I think he have a buisness of small general store too.
So in few seasons his crops were not grown properly and he can't make enough profit also. So he stopped her from going to school, as he can't pay his fees..
And then she and her brother used to remain at home and play and do household chores..
She met a guy in her village. He seemed to be a nice person. He was good. Actually, that guy made her fall in love with him.
Then she was in love with him.
She agreed with him all the time. Then one day he asked him to go to mumbai(where all this fucking shit happened) with him.
She said her parents are not going to allow her, why should they allow her obviously??
Then actually he emotionally forced her to come with him. He kind of showed her dreams there is money in this city, city life is hilarious, you can have job there. You can enjoy there live and earn. And then she agreed.. And they planned to meet at railway station on time. She came with whole of her luggage. The guy reach there too and he said his grandma is dead and then and urgently he have to go.. He'll reach mumbai after 2 days, he said her you don't have to worry about that he'll come there also he have arranged her a room there through a friend of him.. So she don't have to worry he assured her and then he set her on train and she left.
She reached mumbai.
Without a reservation..
Then she met her lovers friend he came there to pick her there on the railway station. He was looking like a criminal. He was hard..
And he take her to his room and then he said ''you are sold to me by your lover, and I bought it from you''
her lover is an awesome actor..
What a fucker!! Dick!! Bastard he was!!
And he raped her..
He raped a 15 year old girl..
And then he kept in his hell for 5 days..
And he forced her into prostitution, she was raped by several men so hardly for 5 days.
Those cruel men..
I wanna kill all of them..!!
She became so weak, and she even vommited also..
The 5 days were more than the hell to her,
There was no rest to her vaginal part..
Then one day she escaped as he forgot to lock the door. You know same thing happened in lilja-4-ever.
She met her a lady on railway station and then she came with her in her home to work..
Imagine her sufferings..
Imagine those days worse than hell..
Then she was sent home with the help of police.
And I don't know that whether her family members are gonna accept her or not??

That's the bad thing in this country..
I hate it..

Steel Butterflies: Prostitution in Lhasa

This is a copied version.
I would like to thank that person for whom this originally belongs..
This is not mine..
I like it therefore I copied and pasted it.
~Thank You!!

"I think that between 2004 and 2006 there are lot more Chinese, Chinese taxi drivers mostly, big Chinese department stores, there is a huge difference and I think the way the brothels look is a lot more Chinese influenced..."

A photo exhibition by Sarah Schorr, an American Photographer at Gallery 9 in Kathmandu titled 'Steel Butterflies' depicts the lives of Tibetan

and Chinese prostitutes in Lhasa, capital of occupied Tibet. The sex workers depicted in the photographs are mostly in the age group of 15-35. In Schorr's words, these places are " salons and bars by the day" and "by night they are brothels for young prostitutes, with storefronts distinguished by glowing pink neon lights".

Schorr spoke to Phayul Correspondent in Kathmandu Tenzin Choephel about the growing prostitution menace in Lhasa and about her project to record these in her camera.

Phayul: What prompted you to take up this project?
Sarah: I had photographed women in the sex industry in New York city in the US. So, I was generally interested in this subject matter; how women happen to get in the situation and what draws them to it or is it usually a financial problem that leads them to to the situation.

P: And what is the purpose of doing this exhibition?
Sarah: I guess when I was in Tibet, I became very curious about what was behind these pink storefronts and so it was curiosity initially that led me to the project but it was the individuals who I met, who really got my interest because they were such interesting, very sweet young women and they seem to be stuck in that situation.

P: When did you first go to Tibet?
Sarah: I first went to Tibet in 2004. That was the time when I noticed it and I started to get ready to do this project but I took most of the photographs in 2006 this year around Losar in the winter.

P: Initially, did you take photographs from outside or did you go in directly?
Sarah: Well, initially I planned to just photograph the outside precincts. But one day I walked in and I was very compelled to talk to the women, they were so nice and warm and friendly and they seem like they wanted to talk to someone and they wanted to be photographed.

P: How many brothels did you visit?
Sarah: I went to about 10 or 15 repeatedly but I saw more than that in my time, but I would generally go to the same 10 or 15 to really start a relationship with particular women.

P: Are there more Chinese or Tibetan prostitutes?
Sarah: These photographs in the room here are only a small part of the project. On the whole, it is about half and half, and in the places that I saw were about half and half as well, although Chinese women were often older in age and the Tibetans often younger but about the same amount of both.

P: What do you think is the reason for the rise in prostitution in Tibet nowadays?
Sarah: I think that the prostitution is more apparent now because of Chinese influence in Lhasa specifically, and the presence of the pink lights seemed to be more in the Chinese brothels in particular, and so it is much more upfront even from 2004 to 2006, I saw an increase.

P: I have heard some of these prostitutes on the streets pull the customers in; did you see anything like that?
Sarah: There were some worst areas where women were on streets but generally the places that I went to, most of them operated from inside. So, they would be sitting in the windows and you just walk in. The Chinese places are easier to see from the street. But usually the brothels are lined up in such a way that it is a Tibetan brothel first, then a Chinese brothel next, then again a Tibetan brothel, or two Tibetan brothels and two Chinese brothels and so on.

P: So, the Tibetans do it in a separate way and Chinese do separately?
Sarah. Generally, yes, there is some overlap; some mixed within places. Normally, it is a whole Tibetan place and a whole Chinese place.

P: So, in a nutshell, prostitution is their profession?
Sarah: They are so young, its hard to call it, you know, it is their profession. It is how they make money but I think that there is hope that maybe it's their way to get to Lhasa, get to the city from villages and maybe they will go on to something else, I mean, it generally seems to be their means to a better life hopefully or they think that.

P: What was the youngest age among them?
Sarah: The youngest age that I recall is age 15, and some of them maybe younger but I am not sure.

P: Did you document story of any girl in particular?
Sarah: There was a lot of language barrier between me and the girls, so I would often go with an interpreter, but the stories that I got specifically, were visual because a lot of what I was doing was observing them, like how they acted, when they were sad, when they seemed remorseful and when they seemed really excited and sort of happy to be with their friends.

P: Did you know where these girls mostly come from, any particular part of country?
Sarah: It was a mix, I would say it is pretty mixed but lot of them were from very small villages. There was a bunch from Shigatse, again they were lot of different towns.

P: Are these places just brothels or something else?
Sarah: Sometimes they are bars, sometimes they are hair salons, my friend tried a haircut but it didn't come out good, so I think mostly brothels.

P: I heard that there are lots of bars, places ironically called 'Nangma',which are restaurant and bars cum brothels, is it true?
Sarah: I think 'Nangma' is fabulous, I don't think it's a bad thing, but I don't know so much about 'Nangma' and that is a separate thing from prostitution, but you do see a lot of revealing clothing in that sort of situation and a lot more rock music and that type of thing, but I think it is separate thing from brothels, I am not sure, I was looking more at low end brothels.

P: I heard that the Chinese own most of these brothels and owners have good relation with leaders, did you know anything about that?
Sarah: I can't comment on that, again I don't know and there was some communication gap, I was less communicating with management of these places and more with girls who were sort of at the bottom level of the situation.

P: Any idea how much these girls earn per day?
Sarah: No, but I generally know they charge about 100 Yuan per customer, generally, of course it varies but that's sort of average.

P: Are there lots of people going to such places?
Sarah: Yeah, a lot were going to them.

P: What about health and sanitation condition; do they have health check up or anything?
Sarah: This is something that I think is becoming more available but it is something that I would like to help with in the future. It is something that I hope these photographs would bring some awareness. There is a need for more counseling and education about sexually transmitted diseases.

P: There are lots of restrictions on things like photography in Tibet, how did you get permission, how did you do it?
Sarah: The reason that the prostitution is allowed to go on is because it goes in the same... I will explain in two things, one because these institutions are either hair salons or bars, so they have a license to be those institutions and they double their profits, and in terms of myself it was not hard, I experienced no difficulty in going into these places, no police presence at all.

P: Usually, when you try to tell something about Tibet, Chinese authorities would call you to try to stop you or intimidate you, did you get any such calls?
Sarah: So far I have not experienced this, my biggest fear is that I will have some trouble going back because I want to go back and continue.

P: What is your message to people through this exhibition?
Sarah: Less than telling people, I would want people to look at the photographs. Sometimes, subject matter like this is difficult to think about, we don't like to think about the fact that some of the young women in our community are in these situations, but I want to, by looking at the photographs, I want you to consider these as individuals who need help and but also just, I think to look and think not all of them are same or in the same situation.

P: When do you plan to go back?
Sarah: As soon as I can, hopefully this year.

P: How is the situation in Tibet in general?
Sarah: I think that between 2004 and 2006 there are lot more Chinese, Chinese taxi drivers mostly, big Chinese department stores, there is a huge difference and I think the way the brothels look is a lot more Chinese influenced but again I personally don't think this problem just started in the last few years and I think it's a problem that every country experiences, so its not unique to Tibet.

Suffering...

On 26th of jan Republic day is celebrated in India. And I was with my friends in jaiselmer Thar desert. It was ok, having fun but when there was bornfire and dance. A stage artist girl age between 20 and 30 she was dancing. It was cultural rajasthani dance. She was dancing well, and she was so good at dance. She also performed that trick of elastic body, moving her head in back ward direction and then she picked a metal plate through her teeth. And a guy came, I think he might be drunk. Then he kept the rs. 500 note in his mouth and half the note outside and asked that girl to perform same trick. A thought of slapping that moron came into my mind and changed to fantasy. Again when every one was dancing then some pervert males aged in their mid 30's and 40's just came near to her and I don't like the way they treated her. It was so fucking annoying. I really don't like such kind of acts. That crowd was not decent. I could see in their eyes, these idiotic perverts see her as a whore as their property. She was a nice decent dancer. Why they were looking and treating her like that?? Why??
According to Sigmund Freud the unfullfilled desired are stored into the unconscious mind.
My desire was to protect that girl, it just remain unfulfilled.
And that night I did which I was not supposed to do. I'm feeling guilty now, I'm suffering now. I will never do it ever again. I swear to myself. I will never repeat it again. My 4 friends have vomitting due to excessive drinking. Rishabh have the most awfull vomitting. He was suffering and strugling. I do whatever I could do. I am happy He thanked me for my help. But he didn't remember anything. And its ok. I mean its fine if you didn't remember how your wet lower was changed. I'm having dehydration now. I also didn't sleep well. And this tiring travel of bus. I hate it..
Now when I'm in train I'm writing this. The basic problem with me is that I'm too much sensitive. And I trust people too early I easily trust their fakeness. Humans are natural actor. I really like people who are not fake and idealistic. The very best in them is that they don't pretend they are who they are. I have met very few of kind.
I don't want money and success in life.. I just want to see good people around me. Money can't buy such things. I just want to purify myself. I sometimes hate that I'm human being....

Don't eat what your soul dosen't accepts..

Day before yesterday, We were at the small cafe. I ordered the chicken sandwich there and one of my friend came who was pure vegetarian. I said to him don't eat it. But he put that sandwich in the mouth.
So I don't know why??
I'm not feeling guilty. I want to feel guilty.
I also didn't apologies to him.
May be I should do him.
But after this I will not have courage to face him. So Lord what should I do?
Loose my friendship forever or just be the kind of fake friends?
And I have dream today, at 08:26 p.m.(that's the time when I woke up).
I saw that I, my school friend, and one of my friend from my colony, we were drinking, and I saw that he was cooking chicken(Isn't that weird) or it is that only I'm making it weird to appear.
I don't know..
He said that he has not eaten non-veg for the past 20 years.. and due to me I ate it..
I don't know..
About my mind.. I think it's weird..
very weird.
~Thank you

I wish I could give back your life..

Today, I visited Domino's with my ex-roommates probably my closest friends here..
Firstly, we get down at subway..eat our subs..
Then we felt that such we haven't ate anything. So one of my friend went to Domino's and there..as we were waiting for his orders to come. There I saw a lady of mid thirty's or early forty's there. She was beautifully dressed, wearing salwar suit.
I could see her eyes covered with eyeliner. I could see her face having mild make-up.
She reminds me of something. She was with her family. A joint family.
She went behind the table. She was standing and reading the views/comments of the people about Domino's. I didn't write any of my comment there.
May be I have written one. And she could have read it.
She was keeping herself busy with other activities, and not involving herself with family matters.
What was it that was worrying me?
May be reading the above lines you would feel that I was attracted towards her.
I wouldn't deny this also.
A mere spark of attraction was there. But it was not sexual.
That was a feeling of care. Care for the human.
I was afraid of talking to her. Afraid of this world. Afraid of what people might think.
I see feeling of depression in her face.
I could see she was forced to live such kind of life.
Life which she did not love.
I could see she was not happy.
I could see the fake smile on her face.
I don't wish to see this again.
Who likes to see this kind of smile?
I just wanted that she could have life what she wants.
I wish I could give back her life....
